History of Arcadia
Arcadia is built on a former farm and agricultural Date Palm and Citrus Grove which was active between the early 1900s and 1950s. Which aids in its well-irrigated, and desirable mature landscaping. Arcadia could be looked at as the Oasis of Phoenix, being that it sits in the middle of the desert but driving down the established street of E Exeter Blvd, you’d be hard-pressed to believe so. Citrus trees and hedges can be found on just about every lot, with a lot of the hedges being sour oranges separating property lines. Arcadia sits adjacent to the prominent town and suburbs of Biltmore, Paradise Valley, and South Scottsdale. Making what some call the Diamond. Arcadia offers picturesque streets, large lots, and beautifully maintained homes; which has kept home values high and relatively stable over the years.
